Wizkid will soon be returning to his former music label, EME Music Group, this is according to a reliable industry source. The source revealed that Wizkid and EME bosses have been going back and forth for the last couple of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them working together again. "Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn't a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn't increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid" the source said. Nigerian female rapper Adesola Adesimbo Idowu popularly called Weird MC is thanking God to be alive today after she recently escaped death from an angry military officer who threatened to kill her. According to her, she spotted the military officer driving with his family on Lagos Ibadan Expressway and cautioned him to watch out because of his safety and that of his family. And to her surprise, the military officer stopped, brought out a knife and threatened to kill her. Weird MC said she had no option but to escape for her life. “People can be very irate. Nigerian Gospel Singer Lanre Teriba Atorise Shot In South Africa

Gospel singer, Lanre 'Atorise' Teriba issaid to have had a bad deal the last time he was in South Africa to perform.
According to reports, the artiste was said to have left the shores of Nigeria to discharge his duty as an artist in South Africa. Lanre and Dele Taiwo performed at a Valentine show tagged 'Praise Night Concert in South Africa'.
The event, which took place on the 15th of February at West End Theater, G2 Entrance, Pretoria Show Ground, Pretoria West, was a huge success. But it didn't end well as Teriba was attacked immediately afterthe show by some unknown assailants.He was also shot in the leg, while valuable items like BlackBerry Porch, iPad, gold wristwatch and money weretaken away from him. The artiste was later rushed to a nearby hospital in Pretoria for prompt treatment.
According to reports, he has fully recover from the wound sustained.
More reasons i dont like South Africa.
Brazilian Exchange, Students Refuse to Sleep in Unilag Female Hostel

Nigeria is currently embroiled in a diplomatic stand-off with Brazil over an incidence that occurred at the University of Lagos. Female students from Brazil who are part of a one year exchange programme at the university, refused to stay in the hostel accommodations provided for them on campus even after school authorities provided generating sets for the rooms, installed air-conditioner units, and equipped the rooms with water purifiers, DSTV, internet access and working telephone lines. The foreign students turned down the rooms and asked instead for accommodation in any of the reputable five star Hotels in Lagos. The Nigerian programme coordinator refused, telling them that their Nigerian counterparts in Brazil had settled down into the student accommodations provided for them in Brazil so there was no reason the Brazilians shouldn't stay in Moremi Hall in Unilag. Unbeknown to authorities, the foreign students contacted their Embassy claiming that they were in fear for their lives and this led to Interpol agents being called in to 'rescue' the Brazilians from Unilag. This has now resulted in a tense exchange of words between officials of the two countries but the Brazilians are unrelenting in their decision to remove their citizens from University of Lagos and from the exchange programme. Speaking from the Brazilian embassy in Lagos, one of the rescued girls explained why she and her fellow exchange students were afraid for their lives. According to her, during their induction, when they first arrived in Unilag, they noticed that a lot of Nigerian girls had Brazilian hair on their heads. The Reasons Why Wizkid Left Banky W You must have heard the rumour. Wizkid’s controversial tweets have led to speculation that he’s on the verge of leaving (or has already left) his parent record label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). What we know for sure is that Wizkid has got a management deal with Tinie Tempah’s “Disturbing London” and he’s managed in Nigeria by Godwin Tom. We also know that, at this moment, Wizkid is still SIGNED to EME. By the way, he has already re-updated his twitter profile by removing EME/Konvict music from it. However, we got a leak from an insider source EME takes 50 percent of everything Wizkid gets, Osagie used to take 25 percent and Wizkid 25 but Wiz saw how Davido was popping independently and making monies so he took matters in his own hands, took Osagie out, got Godwin tom, gives him 10 percent, he is trying to reduce EME’s 50 percent but they are acting up because they shoot his video and all expenses are on them. Wiz is not happy, they are owing him money from the Pepsi deal and other deals. Wizkid has taken matters into his own hands, he is planning to release an album this year, but the EME’s calendar is disrupting him coupled with the fact that EME does not want to bulge on the percentage and the money they owe him.
